All wood products should be hand washed. The dishwasher can degrade the wood and cause swelling ruining the custom design and the board. Simply use soap and hot water to clean, making sure not to immerse the cutting board in water. If the board is looking a little drab, you can oil the board with food grade mineral oil. Wipe along the grain with a mineral oil soaked cloth, wait a few minutes and wipe off any excess that was not absorbed.
